Happy April!
A big thank you to all who attended the Easton Boy Scout Troop 66 Gourmet Breakfast on Saturday at the Easton Community Center! It was great to see so many people from the community supporting the scouts and enjoying each other's company.
Looking ahead, we have a regular Board of Selectmen meeting this week. The Board of Ethics is expected to present its findings and recommendations after reviewing information related to multiple complaints filed against the chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission. As you may remember, the chair himself stated during public comment at a prior Board of Selectmen meeting that he wanted a Board of Ethics review. I have received and read the written decision by the Board of Ethics and am interested in hearing from the members in person. I appreciate their dedication and the prompt response to this situation. The Board of Selectmen meeting is Thursday evening at 7:30pm, either in person at Town Hall or on Zoom.
Mark your calendar for Monday, April 24th. The Annual Town Meeting is that evening at 7:00 in the SSES cafetorium. The referendum will follow on Tuesday, May 2nd.
Happy Passover and Happy Easter to all those who will celebrate this week. Next week is spring break for Easton schools. Safe travels to those who have plans, whether venturing near or far.
