Welcome to the holiday season! December is always a busy month.
If you’re looking for events, join the Friends of the Library for the Annual Holiday Market and Tree Lighting at the Library on Sunday, December 3rd from 3-6pm.
In celebration of Hanukkah, the Mishkan Israel Day Camp traditionally holds a Menorah lighting on the firehouse green. Hanukkah begins on December 7th so stay tuned for the date and time.
Search for some treasures at the Easton Senior Center Holiday Boutique. You can shop 9am-3pm weekdays through December 20th. All purchases help support the senior center. Be sure to bring cash or your checkbook.
It’s also the season of giving and there is no shortage of opportunities within our town.
The Easton Police Department’s annual Stuff-a-Cruiser event is on Sunday, December 3rd from 8am-noon. Help our officers fill a police car with new, unwrapped toys to be donated to Toys for Tots. You can also leave donations in the boxes in the police department lobby at any time.
The Easton Fire Department is collecting toys for the annual drive for Al's Angels. You can drop off toys at the firehouse until December 13th. Al’s Angels is looking for gifts for kids ages 10 and under. It’s a local charity that provides support to children and families battling illnesses or severe financial hardship.
Keep an eye out for Santa and his elves on December 9th and 10th. Operation Santa will visit kids around town thanks to Easton EMS.
Good luck as we head into the decorating, shopping, celebrating season. I know my car will be set to “Holly” through the end of the year. Remember, it’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Sharing a few of our tree lighting memories over the years. Love to see how much that tree, and the kids, have grown! (2016, 2019 and 2021)
See you on Sunday!
